Hellow!
Who am I,
what do I do and
why should you care?
MY NAME IS JOJO
At the age of 23, I live near the picturesque city of Lucerne in Switzerland.

I create art that vibrates with color and pulsates with life. My canvases become windows into the nuanced personalities of animals - ranging from cherished pets to majestic wild creatures, from powerful big cats to graceful equines.
Each stroke of my brush aims to capture their character traits, their wisdom, strength, and pride.
Through my artwork, I endeavor to create a mirror where viewers can see reflections of their own identity intertwined with these animals, reminding us all of our innate power, wisdom, and pride.

"The beauty of my artistic journey lies in its splendid unpredictability; I never truly grasp where I stand, and therein lies the thrill and allure of creation."
Why do I paint animals?
With over 14 years of experience nurturing relationships with horses, cats and other animals, I have come to deeply appreciate their rich emotional lives, full of feelings, thoughts, and intentions similar to our own.
I stand firm in my belief that the life of an animal holds intrinsic value equal to that of a human, and our interactions with our pets or farm animals should reflect this understanding.

While I recognize the natural cycle of consumption within the animal kingdom, and don't advocate for a universal discontinuation of meat-eating, but the prevailing conditions that many animals endure deeply distress me. It stems from a profound misconception that animals lack intelligence or cognitive abilities—a notion I fiercely refute.

With my art, I embark on a mission to highlight the profound essence of animals, to raise consciousness about their worth, and to advocate for their rights. My work serves as a vivid testament to their spirit, in an effort to foster understanding and empathy towards these remarkable beings.
Embarking on my journey of painting horses and big cats ignited a spark of liberation, allowing me to break the chains of stagnation that kept me tethered to a realm of discontent.

My art serves as a canvas for my exploration of the world, allowing me to traverse life's vast landscapes at my own rhythm, guided by the compass of my intuition.
